64-Year-Old Woman Killed In I-10 East LA Crash

EAST LOS ANGELES, CA — A 64-year-old Covina woman was killed in a rush-hour crash on the on the eastbound San Bernardino (10) Freeway in the East Los Angeles area Wednesday evening, authorities announced Thursday. Norma Murray died in a solo vehicle crash while driving a 2019 Honda CR-V in the express lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred at about 5 p.m. Wednesday near Center Street. For some reason, Murray's vehicle crashed into the right shoulder wall careening into the left shoulder wall before coming to a rest. The circumstances of the crash remain under investigation. City News Service contributed to this report.
