Description

GURNEE, IL — Fright Fest is back. The Halloween event at Six Flags Great America didn't happen last year due to COVID-19, but will open for its 30th season on Sept. 18. Fright Fest will be up and running at the Gurnee theme park on select dates through Oct. 31. There will be two new haunted houses and nine "scare zones." The park will be open during the day, for all the little witches and goblins who want to stop out for some family friendly-scares, and also at night, when the park ups its fright factor. Tickets are available for purchase online. In addition, the most updated rules regarding protocol in place due to COVID-19 can be found on the theme park's website. Six Flags is currently hiring performers for Fright Fest. The theme park is offering new, higher pay rates, including jobs that pay $15 per hour, and bonuses for those who are hired. Visit the Six Flags website for more information.
