STILLWATER, MN — Thanks to the coronavirus pandemic, the grand opening ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Stillwater Lift Bridge and Loop Trail opening had to be canceled in 2020. The good news is that on Saturday, a party will be held to mark the one-year anniversary of the opening of the bridge and trail. The celebration will feature fireworks. Among attendees will be U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar and U.S. Rep. Betty McCollum. Stillwater Lift Bridge and Loop Trail first year anniversary - Aug. 146 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Bike rodeoTrail walkStreet dance 10 p.m. Fireworks at 10 p.m.Public parking will be available at the municipal lots on the St. Croix riverfront.
