POSITION INFORMATION The Livermore Area Recreation and Park District is currently accepting applications for Recreation Leader II. The Believes Program is a Grant Funded after school enrichment program assisting students with homework, enrichment activities, and outdoor sports. Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00p.m.-6:00p.m. and Wednesday 1:00p.m.-6:00p.m., with an average of 21 hours per week. Requirements: Must have experience working with school age children within a group setting. AA degree is recommended or the ability to pass a multiple subject comprehension test. SUMMARY Under general supervision, performs support work related to recreational programs, events, and activities; provides instruction and conducts classes/activities for program participants under the guidance and direction of higher-level staff; prepares buildings, fields, and facilities for scheduled activities or events; provides routine administrative support; and performs related work as required.
