Gun And Holster Stolen In Darien: Cops

DARIEN, IL — A gun and a holster were stolen from a car last week in the 7500 block of Farmingdale Drive in Darien, police said. The theft occurred between 8:30 a.m. Aug 3 and 11 a.m. Aug. 5. The loss was estimated at $400. Police did not describe the gun. Police also did not say whether the car was locked. In many car burglaries, doors are unlocked. Patch has emailed an inquiry to the police department.
