Press release from the City of Stow: 2021-08-11 Stow Mayor John Pribonic is seeking a Stow resident that has an interest in improving the Stow City Government to fill a vacancy on a City commission. An appointment to this vacancy is made by the Mayor and confirmed by Stow City Council. A Stow resident is needed to fill a vacancy on the City's Urban Forestry Commission. The Commission is comprised of seven stow residents that are appointed to 5-year terms.  The vacancy is for an unexpired term that will run through January 2, 2024. The commission meets the first Monday of each month at 3:30pm, usually at Stow City Hall. The Stow Urban Forestry Commission provides input on environmental, economic, and aesthetic benefits of an actively managed urban forest for our community now and for future generations.
