We are looking for dedicated individuals that will proudly represent our Rainbow brand. Rainbow restores homes and businesses that have suffered from fire, water, and mold damage. Cleaning Technicians play an important role within our company as they are responsible for cleaning people's personal property as well as their homes or businesses. They follow specific protocols while performing their duties and are detailed cleaners. Our restoration team members do not just perform daily activities, we help people get back home and back in business. If you are interested, contact Steve D. at (708) 460-0911. Responsibilities include: * Occasionally drive a company vehicle to customers homes and businesses throughout Chicago and the South & West Suburbs * Load and unload equipment and supplies from the vehicle to the worksite * Clear the work site by moving furniture and personal property * Establish and maintain a service schedule to ensure all service is delivered to meet customer requirements * Maintain a professional appearance * Communicate with customers and provide exceptional customer service * Clean and maintain equipment * Test clean contents to determine the best cleaning method * Inventory personal property * Pack and unpack personal property * Clean all surfaces in homes and businesses after a fire or smoke loss * Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications for this position: * High School diploma or equivalent * IICRC certifications and not required but a plus * Previous cleaning background * Be willing to obtain certifications to further your education in this industry * Mid-level computer skills; ability to use an iPad and smartphone * Aptitude for learning new technology and software - app on a smartphone * Valid driver's license is recommended * Must be able to pass a background check * Strong written/verbal skills to accurately present information to customers and document activities * Attention to detail * Able to problem solve and follow detailed instructions * This position requires the physical stamina/ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting 50+ pounds, bending, kneeling, reaching, standing on your feet throughout the day etc.) Additional Information: * Pay is determined by the applicant's experience. * Health benefits after a certain period of time * IICRC training
