These committee members are confirmed by The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and meetings are facilitated by The Los Angeles County Department of Regional Planning. The purpose of the Owen Brown Gravesite Committee is to establish, preserve, and maintain a memorial site known as the "Owen Brown Gravesite", in accordance with Los Angeles County's Conditional Use Permit 2007-00114 (Full Conditions of Approval found Here) The newly formed Owen Brown Gravesite Committee is a community group which includes: a member of the Altadena Town Council, a member of Altadena Heritage, an Altadena resident with knowledge of Altadena trails and open space efforts, and a member of the Meadows residential area.
