Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/10/2021 UPDATE: Homicide detectives responded to the scene and determined that the incident was a negligent manslaughter. Investigators were able to establish probable cause and secured arrest warrants for Hilena Misganaw, age 18, on the charge of Involuntary Manslaughter. Misganaw was arrested and transported to the Fulton County Fail.       Preliminary information: On Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at around 7:34 p.m., officers were dispatched to a person shot call at 530 E Paces Ferry Rd NE.  Upon arrival, officers located a female with a gunshot wound.  She was transported to the hospital and despite life saving measures, she was pronounced deceased.  Homicide Investigators responded to the scene and will be working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.
