We will be covering some of the music recorded by Manhattan Transfer. Plus, covering other music that is not done my M.T. but will be arranged in that style known as 'Jazz Vocal Harmony'. 4-part vocal harmony will be used on 30 to 45% of our music. All 4 parts are completely different, not to be confused with Pop or Rock harmony done in 4-parts that involves one of the standard 3 parts being doubled an octave apart from each other. Jazz Vocal Harmony can be separated by tight intervals between one, or one half of a step apart. Several other styles of music will be used.as well including; Classic Rock, Pop, Motown, newer Top 40 and 'Great American Songbook' (Diana Krall, Amy Winehouse, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughn) and some of these will use Jazz Vocal Harmony, some won't. Either way there will be plenty of room for Solo voices to show their individual talent and shine. Upscale Restaurants and Jazz Clubs will be pursued for bookings as well as Jazz Festivals, Wineries and Breweries. We are committed to an excellent and professional product. Age, race, religion, partner preference, are not a concern. Talent is.
