Payne Pest Management is looking for a termite technician who would be responsible for maintaining a working partnership with commercial properties, home-owners, and property managers. A termite technician is responsible for maintaining the high standards we set in the industry. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A termite technician is responsible for the treatment of subterranean termites, drywood termites and other wood destroying insects. QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job. Drug screening, background checks and a clean driving record are required. EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE: 1. No prior experience or training necessary. 2. Registered Applicator Branch (2/3) and/or a Field Representative (3) license issued by the State of California. (A Plus) 3. The ability to read, write, learn, and communicate in English effectively. 4. Construction experience (A Plus) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Use of Hands, Fingers, Standing, Walking, Sitting, Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Communicating, Smelling, Lift and Carry 25 lbs. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour based on experience and a company provided truck that you can take home. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Paid Vacation, Sick, Aflac, AD&D. (Fulltime Employees Only) WORK HOURS: This is a full time position and a termite technician MUST be available to work Monday - Friday and 1 Saturday per month.
