Full Job Description Maintenance Technician must have a minimum of 4 years’ experience working in a maintenance or repair role. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and dependable. Must have mature work habits and good communication skills. Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate production schedules and equipment downtime. Job Skills: Knowledgeable in the function and preventive maintenance of all building systems: including; plumbing, electrical, and carpentry. Able to operate, common hand tools, power tools, and yard equipment. Must be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Organized and detail oriented, able to follow process requirements with a systematic approach. Work Performed: Daily activities include supporting the production facility by providing a safe environment for employees to perform manufacturing tasks. Perform preventive maintenance on building systems and production equipment. Keep accurate records of work performed. Performing janitorial tasks when required and other duties as assigned. Candidate must demonstrate: * Knowledge of plumbing, mechanical, and light electrical * Proficient carpentry skills including counter tops, cabinet installation, framing, door hanging * Quality painting and paint matching * Locksmith skills a plus * Honest, hardworking, takes initiative * Good verbal and written communication skills * Ability to work independently and strong analytical thinker * Flexibility to be on call and occasionally work weekends and nights Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: • 8-hour shift • Monday to Friday • Must be available 24/7 • Overtime (if called in) Qualifications • General maintenance: 4 years (Required) • Must pass Criminal background check (Required) • Must pass Drug Test • Must have basic tools • Must have reliable transportation License/Certification: • Driver's License (Preferred) Work Location: Del Rio, Texas
