Summary The Machine Maintenance Mechanic II works with minimal oversight and supervision to maintain, clean, and service machinery while using company equipment and vehicle for transportation. Vehicle is provided as a "take home" and gas card provided, along with company uniforms. Machine Maintenance Mechanic II performs comprehensive independent diagnostic analysis, preventative equipment maintenance, and repair work while consistently demonstrating safe and efficient work practices with a positive and professional attitude and demeanor. Flexible Schedule: 40hrs week OT available Can be a schedule of 4x10 or 5x8, may also include a weekend day if desired Primary Duties & Responsibilities • Perform preventative maintenance of machinery • Properly clean, align, and test core functions of machines • Recognize core function issues and report them to management for repair • Understand most effective cleaning methods for machines • Clean and clear machine mechanisms of obstructions • Repair/replace most all parts within a machine, including mechanical and electrical parts, belts, bearings, boards, buttons, switches, signals, small motors and pulleys. • Follow troubleshooting logic to determine issues with non-functioning machines. • Maintain and repair belts, motors, sensors, and signal wires • Swap out components in control panels • Lift, carry and raise to a level of 5 feet items weighing up to 50 lbs. • Adhere to Safety Standards and policies • Clean and maintain work area and equipment to ensure a safe work environment • Occasionally cut, torch, grind, weld, or perform hydraulic oil changes • Ability and aptitude to mentor and train less experienced Mechanics and Technicians Education/Experience • 1-2 years technical training • Minimum of 3 years experience with industrial mechanics, welding, and hydraulic systems Requirements – Skills, Job Knowledge & Abilities • Electrical and mechanical skills and knowledge around gears, pulleys, chains, machinery, and electronic controls. • Understand and use of machine mechanic and technician level tools • Understand basics of AC, DC, 5v, 24v, 110v, 208v3ph and multimeter usage • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team; a self-starter, but not hesitant to ask for direction when needed • Demonstrated ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple projects, adhere to deadlines, handle frequent changes effectively and professionally, follow through on issues in a timely manner, and give excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy • Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with individuals at all levels with both internal and external partners • Own a basic tool sets; specialty tools will be provided • A current driver’s license and acceptable driving history is required • Regular, reliable, in-person attendance Benefits • Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance plans for Full-Time employees • 401(k) with company matching • Paid Time Off • Paid Holidays Ready to apply today?
