WHO WE ARE We are a top-rated pet sitting company that has been operating in Chicago for over 16 years. We have hundreds of clients on the north and northwest side of Chicago. We train sitters in best practices, and provide all the essentials for work. We support sitters throughout the work day, while sitters enjoy a high level of autonomy. We provide regular performance reviews and pay raises. We offer extra pay for early/late hours, weekends, and holidays! WHO YOU ARE You are extremely responsible and dedicated, own a reliable smartphone with data plan, and love to interact with both people and their pets. You’re positive, dependable, and have strong attention to detail. The relationship between a sitter and a client is critical, so you have well-honed written and verbal skills. The following requirements MUST be met to be considered: -You love animals, including dogs AND cats -You are available weekends (Sat and Sun) and all major holidays -You have reliable transportation (bike/car/scooter/CTA) -You have a smartphone with wireless data plan -You are reliable, positive, and a hard worker -You can make a long-term commitment (min. 6 months) This role works well as a standalone part-time job, or mixed with other work with fixed or flexible hours. You MUST be available on weekends and holidays, and we are happy to accommodate workload preferences to provide days off mid-week. HOW IT WORKS You’re an employee, not a contractor, which means the liability, scheduling, and client relations work is all done in the office. You can focus on loving cats (and the occasional dog)! You’ll go through a comprehensive paid training program. You’ll learn how to care for dogs and cats and understand all the ins and outs of our scheduling software and how we operate.
