Family Owned and Operated Residential Construction Company Hiring; Small organization but we provide year-round steady work. (Not a seasonal construction company; 5 years never 1 single winter layoff.) Our business operations include all phases of Interior home remodeling, Roofing, Siding, Window Installation, Soffit& Fascia, and Framing/carpentry work. Our building projects include garages, room additions, decks, and other similar framing projects. Coverage Area: Our service area includes Sterling, Dixon, Rock Falls, Rochelle, and the surrounding communities. Rockford and The Quad City area for projects at times. Desired Skills and Experience: - Roofing and Siding Experience a must. - Interior remodel experience- Ranging from Drywall work, flooring work, painting, cabinet installation, etc. - Rough framing and finish carpentry experience - Ability to build according to Blueprints, verbal instructions, and handwritten instructions. - Light Residential Electrical and/or plumbing exp. would be a plus. - Some Concrete exp. would be a plus. Qualifications: -Dependability- Arriving to job sites daily ahead of schedule; prepared to begin work tasks with a positive proactive attitude. - Trouble Shooting ability- self efficient with an ability to root cause and solve issues to continue to progress toward project goals. -3- 5 years construction experience related to the above scope of work. -Driver's License- Reliable transportation -Willingness to Travel often for work. 1.5-hour radius at times depending on an employee’s home location. Compensation: - Hourly Salary is Negotiable- Salary offer is based on qualifications, quality of interview, and overall fit - W2 position. (1099 possibly)
