AWG is partnering with a local custom-designed case distributor in Vancouver, Washington to identify a Water Jet Operator for their state of the art fabrication warehouse. The Water Jet Operator will be utilizing the proper tools to cut foam inserts to fit various designs for custom cases.   Pay: $16+ (DOE) Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am or Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Duties and Responsibilities: Operates and programs water jet machine Performs quality evaluations on parts during production. Manages material usage to optimize profitability. Manages time and works efficiently. Able to read and understand basic terminology on production orders and interpret drawings. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machines as required. Assists in training personnel in the use of equipment, and procedures in manufacturing and safety as needed.   Requirements and Qualifications: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions. Willingness to ask questions and communicate openly with superiors and peers. Ability to calculate mathematical functions in metric and imperial. Ability to add and subtract fractions and decimals and convert between the two.
