Hey there Craigslist, I’m a professional musician, currently playing with two bands (lead guitar in one, bass in another). I’m looking to play out more often, all of the guys I play with are in their 40’s and have kids, so they don’t want to play out more than 2-3 times a month. What I’m looking for is a group of guys that want to get a setlist together and hit the ground running next spring. In an ideal world, I’d like to book 5+ gigs a week and quit my day job. I listen to a wide range of music, including rock, alt, funk, blues, reggae, pop, and r&b. The 90’s and early 2000’s are my comfort zone, but I enjoy music from all eras. I don’t really care for modern pop-country, I’ll play a few tunes here and there that are crowd pleasers but I’m definitely NOT looking to play in a country band. So, if you’re a serious musician that’s looking to play multiple nights a week, hit me up. I’d even like to book some double-headers on Saturday/Sunday. I’m also open to joining an established band. I like playing guitar or bass pretty equally, so I don’t mind filling either spot. I’m also available as an understudy/fill-in. I have about 260 songs I currently know well enough to gig out, and I’m adding to the list all the time. I have pro-level gear (USA Fender & Gibson basses, Ampeg 4x10 amp)(Many USA/MIJ guitars, 100w Marshall Amp)(Shure Wireless in-ears, Shure Wireless Instrument and Shure Wireless Mic gear).
