Looking for a puppy!

Looking for a puppy for my son. Due to my husband being gone frequently in the National Guard, my son isn’t as chipper as he normally is. As a mother it worries me with how young he is. We don’t have a lot of money but are willing to see what our availability options are. Any puppy is welcome, however, we are looking for the following breeds; German shepherd, golden Retriever or Australian shepherd. I know those are pricey dogs but like I said willing to negotiate.
