***** Please apply at www.nesbitts.com/application ***** Nesbitt Contracting Co., Inc. is hiring a Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work on heavy equipment with experience in saw cutting Description • To perform: o Concrete sawing o Asphalt cutting o Removal of concrete and asphalt o Core drilling Requirements: • Cut, drill, saw and remove concrete and asphalt • Work with demolition tools, flat saw, handsaw, rig saws, compressor tools, and wall saws. • Experience with concrete sawing, cutting and/or removal • Comply with all safety policies and procedures • Ability to work as a team member and take directions from foremen • Ability to lift and move 50 lbs or more • Ability to work days, nights, and weekends • Must have a good driving record and valid driver’s license • Must have reliable transportation to work • Must pass a pre-employment drug test and random drug screening Travel: Locations will vary with times outside of the local area Working Conditions • This position involves frequent lifting of 25 pounds with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds. This job requires lifting to be combined with bending and twisting on elevated and irregular surfaces. There is moderate exposure to disagreeable elements such as dust, fumes, noise, dampness, cold, and heat. Nesbitt is an equal opportunity employer.
