Description

We are hiring short term part-time (10-30 hours a week) contractors (1099) for Covid-19 specimen collection and lab processing. Hourly rate is commensurate with experience. This position will require standing outside in tent for specimen collection therefore ability to stand Houston heat and humidity is important. Availability for the weekends and early morning shifts are needed. Essential Duties -Assemble and set up testing kits -Ability to stand for long periods of time -Ability to work outside in Houston heat and humidity -Ability to lift or move 50lbs -Properly explains in concise and courteous manner the process of the swabbing. -Verifies patient identification, verifies all tests ordered and completes all required data -Maintains a clean and safe work environment -Ability to work in fast paced environment -Wears appropriate PPE, approved scrubs, and appropriate footwear during specimen collection. -Understands compliance protocols such as but not limited to HIPAA,PHI,OSHA, and the CDC -Notifies their Site or Shift Manager of an incidents or issues immediately Qualifications: - Team player with an enthusiastic attitude. -Flexible Approach to suit business needs -Excellent customer service skills -High School education or equivalent -Lab experience is preferred but not required -Bilingual ( Spanish speaking) is a plus Safety: Your safety is our priority.
