Utility Technician needed IMMEDIATELY (Sugar Land area) compensation: $15 an hour employment type: full-time The Utility Technician is responsible for the maintenance and construction of water distribution. •Essential Responsibilities: Be able to physically labor in an outdoor environment on a daily basis with good communication skills. •Locates, installs, maintains and repairs water distribution and wastewater collection lines with the use of hand tools. •Perform skilled duties using hand tools, e.g., picks, shovels and power tools. •Inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance and repairs as needed. •Assist meter readers with reading and recording water meters; installs, connects and disconnects meters. •Confers with customers regarding service problems and reports feedback to supervisor. •May act as crew-leader on assigned projects. Minimum Qualifications: None Licenses and Certifications: None Starting pay 15.00 per hour Will be interviewing Monday 8/16 and Tuesday 8/17 at Hilton Garden Inn, Sugar Land TX conference room.
