Primary duties include:
-Receiving and slotting deliveries of product that arrives at the Foodhouse.
-Organizing and placing orders for FH production departments.
-Building and staging outgoing orders.
- Cultivating professional working relationships with key WSM store staff and FH staff, customers, vendors and sales representatives.
-Communicating any issues with outgoing and incoming orders with delivery drivers and key - production department personnel.
-Maintaining the organization and condition of all product storage areas(Warehouse, coolers, freezers, dock area) so that products are easily accessible and clearly identifiable.
Other duties
-Drive 25ft box truck and panel van to shuttle and fill in for delivery drivers.
- Forklift and electric pallet jack operation.
Essential Qualifications:
Ability to work with customers and co-workers from various cultural backgrounds
Regular, predictable attendance
Self-motivation / direction.
At least one year of previous experience with ordering and receiving in a warehouse environment.
Able to prioritize, handle multiple tasks, be accurate and detail oriented.
Provide excellent customer service to managers and staff.
Functional Qualifications:
Lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly, move food and materials.
Previous experience driving truck or van (CDL not required).
Preferred:
Food service industry and ERP software experience
