SUMMARY Packs finished linen bundles into carts for distribution. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is occasionally required to walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Assemble finished linen into carts for shipping. Remove stacks of linen from conveyor belts or on top of workstation, count, and stack into carts. • Carts must meet all quality standards and packing guidelines. • Understand difference between all linen items. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers.
