Have you ever wanted to learn how to Blacksmith? This is the class for you! Get a taste of the lost art of blacksmithing by making your very own bottle opener, and test it at the end of class! Beer and snacks will be provided. In this class you will be introduced to the forge, anvils, hammers, punches and drifts. Learn how to shape mild steel using the art of Blacksmithing! Safety, ergonomics, and best practices will be covered. Attire: Pants, closed toe shoes, shirt that covers shoulders. Please wear a cotton long sleeve shirt, cotton/jean long pants, and leather shoes. Polyester clothing is highly flammable so no breathable sport shirts/pants. Age: Individual participants in this class need to be 18 years of age to participate, 21+ to drink. Ages 14 to 17 with parent or guardian. Prerequisites: None To register call or online at
