Oar Staffing is conducting a search for Inventory Controllers TEMP TO HIRE - 40+ HOURS PER WEEK Job Summary: Inventory Controllers are responsible for the physical and digital tracking of Inventory. Controllers access inventory data using a computerized system to track all of the inventory. Controllers are responsible for checking the material requirements of the organization, issuing necessary product to the Production and Shipping departments, and ensuring that the digital inventory matches the physical inventory. Controllers are responsible for tracking, maintaining, and communicating information within the company. This position does involve some physical tasks, such as moving and lifting materials in the warehouse. Essential Functions: · Issue correct product to Shipping and Production departments. Check inventory stock against material requirements. Communicate shortages to the Planning department for replenishment Organize and manage order forms and follow up with product balances. Communicate with various departments regarding status of orders. Assist in cycle counts and product traces. Coordinate movement of product between warehouses. Qualifications and Skills: · Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Must be able to keep a clean and organized work area. Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Must possess time management skills and problem solving skills. Self-motivated with a great attitude. Forklift certification (training will be provided).
