The Maintenance Technician at Optima Tax Relief, LLC's ("Optima's") Santa Ana, California / Chandler, Arizona office reports directly to the Associate Director of Office Administration. This role is a vital member of the Administrative team, providing complete oversight of office maintenance, ensuring completion of service work orders. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be a handyman well versed in electrical, low voltage cable work, and mechanical operations. In addition, this role will be responsible for moving and building furniture. This role will work with all levels in the organization, requiring a high level of communication and a sense of urgency. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain Reception duties: answering and directing incoming calls, greeting visitors and vendors, signing for delivered packages. Welcome vendors, clients, team members, and other Company visitors. Assist with planning, coordination, and set up for Company on-site and off-site events. Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as on-site injuries, equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons on Company premises, or other unusual occurrences. Serve a liaison between local authorities and emergency response teams in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons on Company premises. Escort individuals off-premises, when necessary. Monitor Company premises, parking lots, visitors, patrons, and employees to preserve order and protect company property. Serve as an active member of Company Emergency Committee serving to coordinate responses to emergency situations on Company premises. Assist with handling various amounts of cash and donations as well as bank deposits. Performs duties as assigned EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 1 Year Relevant Experience CPR Certification Preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,& ABILITIES Excellence prioritization, organization, and multitasking skills. Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate and adjust with all levels of the employee population. Ability to work with different personalities and maintain professionalism and assertiveness as needed. Strong collaboration skills. Ability to exercise diplomacy and maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work M-F schedule with steady hours ranging from 7 AM-6 PM with the ability to be flexible within those time frames as needed. Basic experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Applications.
