Organic Farm Crew Common Hands Farm is hiring members of our crew as we move from the summer season into the fall. This time of year (August) on the farm is filled with lots of harvests, processing, and preparing and planting fall crops. We also have a decent size microgreen production on the farm which crew members help with. When? Our main work days are Monday-Friday from 7:30AM-5:30PM with an hour lunch. We are looking for 2 full time crew members to join us for the rest of the season. There are also opportunities for winter employment. What? Employees help with all aspects of farming including but not limited to: harvesting, processing, planting, weeding, watering and irrigation, cultivating, preparing to market, and attending farmers markets. Pay? The pay for this position is $13 for those with limited or no experience, and up to $14 if you have 1-2 full season experience with a veggie production farm. The farm We grow over 100 crop varieties, attend 5 farmers markets. Everything we grow is ORGANICALLY GROWN. We are in our 10th year of production.
