Well-Established heavy civil/sitework contractor looking for an experienced equipment operator with knowledge in the following areas: Job Description • Must have knowledge/experience in the operation of Excavators, Dozers and Wheel Loaders • Excavation for underground utilities including precast concrete structures and pipe • Must be knowledgeable in sewer and water main installation, drainage/grading and foundation excavation • Understanding plans, site layout and GPS controlled machinery a plus • Shoring and trench protection knowledge required • Subbase preparation and Finish grading related to the installation of curbs /sidewalks/pavers and asphalt • DOT/Municipal work experience a plus Qualifications • Must have valid driver’s license and possess transportation to and from jobsite • OSHA 30 and Dig Safely NY Certification Compensation • Wages commensurate with experience
