Description

This is a fun event to introduce people to the fire service and further engage those who are already interested! Camp Fire and Iron is for anyone (male and female) ages 16 and over that is interested in the fire service or just want to experience what firefighters do! You will be participating in skills that firefighters do on the job! (There will not be live fire due to liability.) We will have firefighters from other departments helping teach the camp. If you are interested in a career in the fire service, this would be an opportunity to get information on how departments do their process. The camp will be held September 25, 2021 from 8:00-6:00 at Jenks Fire Department- Station 2. There will be a maximum number of 20 participants. Once 20 participants have registered, we will start a waiting list. Registration fee will be $20 cash or check due the day of event. Fee is to cover food and t-shirt. Click Register!
