Learn more about the GW Urban Health Program from a panel of program experts. The GW Urban Health Program is a service-learning initiative open to all GW residential public health students. We create powerful learning experiences for GW public health students to mitigate DC Metro’s community-identified public health challenges to promote healthy outcomes in the shared community. This is a great opportunity to translate what you learn in the classroom to and gain essential skills and knowledge as a public health practitioner. On September 7, we will be hosting a panel discussion including alumni, community partners, team leads, and past team coaches to talk more about what future participants can expect to gain from UHP.
