Join us for a wonderful Tai Chi afternoon in the beautiful gardens of Detroit Abloom, for Qi Gong and Tai Chi for Arthritis.
Becky Rahe is an accomplished Master Trainer in Dr. Paul Lam’s Tai Chi Programs. Becky began learning Tai Chi in 2004. She teaches Chen, Sun and Yang Styles. Her teachers have been Dr. Paul Lam, Dan Jones, Janet Cromb, Ian Ectel, and Daniel Baranowski, Jef Morris, Bill Pickett, Hong Yang and Troyce Thome. Becky has also completed her Instructor training with 24 Postures Therapeutic QiGong with The Village of Healing and Wellness.
We will have so much fun on this day, playing Tai Chi and Qi Gong. There will be light snacks and beverages available.
This is a great class for beginners, those interested in deepening understanding and Tai Chi skill, and those considering attending full workshops or certification in Tai Chi.

Ginseng is the daughter of Judo Grandmaster Bruce Sekou Landers, and began martial arts in Isshinryu Okinawan Karate under the instruction of Master Willie Adams, as a child, rising to the level of Brown Belt. As a teen Ginseng was introduced to the Yang 108 by spiritual teacher Ameen Haamid. As a practicing Physical Therapist, it was a full circle experience when Ginseng's research into balance and fall prevention using literature review, led her back to Tai Chi. Tai Chi has hundreds of peer reviewed publications in journals of the highest academic regard, supporting Tai Chi for its effectiveness in improved balance, leg strength, fall prevention, relaxation, and more.
Ginseng is a certified instructor in the Tai Chi for Health Institute founded by Dr. Paul Lam and has been instructed by Master Trainers Becky Rahe and Ralph Dehner.
