From Abraham Lincoln's ill-fated night out at Ford's Theater to Ronald Reagan's close brush with death at the Washington Hilton, there are some fascinating encounters and back stories to learn. Join the DC Cycling Concierge and local presidential historian and guide at presidential sites, Johnny Di Lascio as they take you to some of the city's most high-profile crime scenes and others that have largely been forgotten for over a century. Together they will bring share a glimpse of some terrifying, horrific, and astonishing events safely behind us, but that have shaped our city's and our nation's history. I love cycling and I love DC and I love to show my guests how biking is the best way to see and explore the history and sites. The themes of my tours are a way to see this great city and region in a slightly different way, to delve deeper, and to have some great discussions of how our history relates to today. I love leading these tours by bike because we can see so much more than you can in any other type of tour.
