Join Columbus Gives Back in Downtown Gahanna for some volunteering, fun, and all that jazz! It takes many hands to produce the BEST blues and jazz festival in Ohio! The Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau's Creekside Blues and Jazz Festival volunteers are essential members of our festival family. What: Our group will assist in clean-up, reset and other needs to prep festival. May require lifting. Where: Creekside Gahanna, 117 Mill St. Gahanna, OH 43230 When: Sunday, September 19th (9:00am - 12:00pm). Maybe afterwards our group can hang out and enjoy the festival! Event Leaders: [email protected] COVID-19 Precautions: Columbus Gives Back is following all recommended social / hygiene protocols. Masks are no longer required for outdoor events but please bring one to the event in case our nonprofit partners require them. Masks and social distancing are still required for all indoor events. About CBJF: Known as the showcase for the "best blues and jazz music in Ohio," the Creekside Blues & Jazz Festival (CBJF) is a premier family event destination. First held in 1999, the CBJF began as a half-day event to commemorate the opening of Gahanna's Creekside Park and the revitalization of the downtown Gahanna area. Today, the Festival is a three-day cultural event that features hours of world-class music on multiple stages, mouth-watering cuisine, regional artisans, and more. Each year, more than 30,000 people from across Ohio and the U.S. travel to Gahanna to experience a weekend of first class music, food, community, and fun. About Columbus Gives Back: We love Columbus, young professionals, and getting involved! Our mission is to connect young professionals across central Ohio and engage them in our communities through 35-40 social volunteer and philanthropic opportunities per month. #SocialTwist: We have begun re-introducing social twists, where we invite volunteers to hang out with us after an event to have fun doing something local! As of May 1st, outdoor/patio social twists will be coordinated at the discretion of event leaders and volunteers.
