Join us for a preview of Hanover County's 300th Birthday Legacy Project - the new Hanover Museum of History & Culture and Welcome Center You and a guest are invited to a preview of Hanover County's 300th Birthday Legacy Project - the new Hanover Museum of History & Culture and Welcome Center including a sneak peek of the Smithsonian Exhibit: “Crossroads: Change in Rural America” Hanover Tavern Coach House 6:00 p.m. —7:00 p.m. - Hors D’oeuvres & Cash Bar (business attire) 6:30 p.m. - Remarks Museum Previews* - 5:30, 7:00, and 7:30 p.m. Tours located at 7496 County Complex Road * please note your desired museum preview time in RSVP Please RSVP by no later than 5:00 p.m., Monday, August 23 The Smithsonian exhibit is brought to Hanover County by the Hanover Museum of History & Culture and the Ashland Museum, with additional support from the Virginia Humanities and the Virginia Association of Museums. We also cordially invite you to our “Celebrate History with Us” event on Saturday, August 28. The event will include a 9:30 a.m. Museum ribbon cutting along with a fun, family friendly event from 10:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. at the Historic Hanover County Courthouse.
