Description

Wild Care's Executive Director, Stephanie Ellis' Presentation on her Quito and the Choco Rainforest of Ecuador Trip! In December 2019, Wild Care's Executive Director, Stephanie Ellis visited Quito and the Choco Rainforest of Ecuador, on a National Geographic Lindblad voyage. She stayed at the Masphi Lodge, situated on a 2,500-acre private reserve in the Choco and Cloud Rainforest. Rich in species and biodiversity, this rainforest is home to over 400 species of birds, numerous reptiles and amphibians, and even monkeys, sloths and pumas! Join her on Wednesday, August 25th at 6:00 PM for a vivid photographic presentation from her trip, detailing one of the most vulnerable and biodiverse ecosystems in Ecuador. This presentation is free but we ask that you please RSVP so we know you are coming! Stephanie is headed back to the Cloud Rainforest and the Galapagos Islands in October 2021, as a fundraiser for Wild Care. Any donations made at the door will fund the cost of her airfare. *We ask that attendees follow current Covid-19 protocols and request that unvaccinated individuals wear a mask once inside the community center.
