Help for cat with kidney disease

Description

My sweet, sweet, beloved cat was recently diagnosed with kidney disease. I want to do what I can to keep her with me as long as possible. She will not, WILL NOT eat her pricey prescription food (Hill's). I've really tried everything: mixing with preferred food; having it be the only food available... She. Will. Not. Eat. It. Instead of having a few more $30 bags of food she won't touch, I'd like to try some samples. If you are in the CdA area, and you give your cat a kidney diet (dry food), like Royal Canin, or Purina Pro Kidney, I would appreciate if you would be willing to spare a small sample (a cup or less, or so?). If she will eat it, I'll then speak to my vet about a prescription. Thank you so much for reading. I'll drive to cda, even Post Falls, Rathdrum, to pick up, but really don't want to travel much further than that. (Maybe we can even share techniques and tips for giving sub q fluids)
