Senior, (66), keyboard player looking for a pianist and a singer in my age group for a duo/trio. Looking for the "Baby Boomers" who remember the 50's, 60's & 70's as the good ole days! I would love to find a male and a female vocalist. I have always wanted to have two keyboards in the group. Hello! My name is Tommy and I like to play light jazz standards and adult easy listening pop from the 50’s to today’s music. I'm looking for easy going, no drama musicians who want to play for the enjoyment of getting together with other musicians and making music. Looking to get together in a social setting for some laughs and company. Food and drink always adds to the atmosphere! I play songs from "The Great American Songbook" in the style of vocalists like Frank Sinatra, Michael Bublé and Rod Stewart. Songs include “The Way You Look Tonight”, “Beyond the Sea”, “Fly Me to the Moon” and “Autumn Leaves”. I play Pop Classics such as Booker T & the MG's "Time is Tight", Santana's "Black Magic Woman", "Over the Rainbow/Wonderful World" by Izzy complete with ukulele accompaniment and “Piano Man” by Billy Joel with harmonic. More recent songs that I play are "All of Me" by John Legend, "Beautiful In My Eyes" by Joshua Kadison, "I Will Wait" by Mumford & Sons, "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. Song list is always expanding, I use MIDI files for backing tracks or just play the piano acoustically with sheet music. I consider myself an intermediate player, not a professional so not expecting Elton John, Billy Joel, Jimi Hendrix or Carlos Santana to be answering this posting! LOL!! I have a PA system and practice space available. I also have a pretty big patio in the back yard and can set up there on nice days to enjoy the fresh air and make some music. Got good neighbors so making a little music outside won't be a problem.
