"The Battle of Rowayton" - Sunday 3rd October The Battle of Rowayton - a season opening paddle tennis event to play friendly, but competitive, paddle tennis, have some food and drinks and raise some money for local charities and good causes. Entry fee is $100/player which covers tournament entry, food, drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic), a limited edition Elevate/RPTA "2021 Battle of Rowayton" T-Shirt with proceeds going to 1) the Rowayton Library and 2) to start a scholarship fund to enable some talented Rowayton Elementary School pupils who wouldn't otherwise be playing paddle tennis to get membership, equipment and lessons. Players will be allocated to one of two Rowayton teams by way of a draft the week before the event. Men's, women's and mixed matches will be scheduled throughout the day. Each player should expect to get the chance to play with and against players from both inside and outside their usual team/division.
