Property management company is looking for a handyman who will service and maintain 4 residential buildings, totaling 20 units in Chicago (Lincoln Park and West Town area) on an as-needed basis. From time to time the tenants will have projects separate from the landlord's work. Work will require maintenance and projects that vary. Important that the candidate is skilled in various types of work and also can be available when emergencies arise to assist. The ideal candidate should be able to handle light carpentry, electrical, basic HVAC maintenance, basic plumbing, assembly of items, hanging and mounting items on walls, installation of fixtures, painting, drywall patching, dealing with water sealing and water issues, and other general handyman services. Ideal for someone with their own business and other small/mid-sized clients as this is not full-time work - it will be on an on-call basis.
