Are you interested in grant writing or fundraising, but don't know where to start? Learn the basics to get started! Do you have a need for grants in your organization or are interested in pursuing for special projects, but don't know where to start? This workshop will provide you with information and resources on where to get started searching for grants and what's involved in writing a grant. Additionally, several fundraising ideas will be discussed and how you can explore and incorporate additional strategies into your fund development plan. The grant writing segment of this workshop can be relevant to the non-profit sector; however, it can also be helpful for small businesses as well. Speaker information: Sarah Diamond Sarah has extensive experience managing and leading non-profit organizations. Her area of expertise is volunteer development and philanthropy in community-based non-profits. In addition to her interest and background in leading non-profit organizations, Sarah has a passion for educating and fund development. In 2016, Sarah established a non-profit, The Heart of MFB to provide awareness and support for families impacted by congenital heart defects. Sarah is also a small business owner. Sarah has written and been awarded grants for a variety of organizations. She is working on developing tools and resources that can be valuable for those wanting to form or grow their organization.
