Preta is a Bellingham, WA Based progressive metal / alternative rock band inspired by Tool. We're seeking a creative, possibly unorthodox, and dedicated guitarist and singer to join the band and our goal of becoming album producing & touring musicians. Preta currently consists of a dedicated drummer / percussionist and a bassist. Our Soundcloud, linked below, currently contains our two most recently completed songs (AHDBA & Beat 2) along with two "transitional" tracks (On Fire & Singing Anvils). We feel these demos somewhat depict the style of music we are striving to make, although we realize much of the tone might change depending on what the guitar and vocals bring to the table, and we want to hear your ideas. We currently have a good number of songs underway and we’d like to begin performing (depending on the Delta variant) as soon as possible. Out of all of our goals, delivering fantastic live performances remains our top priority while we finish developing & recording an album’s worth of material.
