A community conversation and action plan to decrease child neglect and abuse cases in Ector County.
Due to the overwhelming neglect and child abuse cases being reported and underreported Harmony Home Children's Advocacy Center is dedicated to starting the conversation and facilitating an action plan to decrease the trauma, stress and difficulties these families are facing daily. Our goal is to collaborate with all community sectors in Ector County to increase access to support, programing, and community services that will help to encourage resiliency, education, and healthy outcomes. This can be accomplished with the support and dedication of all members of the community. This is a CALL TO ACTION! We are requesting your participation in this conversation to share your support and knowledge to end child neglect and abuse in Ector County.
Harmony Home is a nonprofit organization that strives to mimimize the trauma of child abuse through a multidisciplinary team approach to the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child abuse cases. Through dedicated efforts of our volunteer Board of Directors, 12 staff members, law enforcement, Child Protective Services, prosecutors, therapists and volunteers, Harmony Home is able to help children and their families find justice and healing. Children and families who are referred to Harmony Home find the support and resources they need and deserve, and most importantly, a place where together their healing can begin.
