It's Back!! Growing Home's Backyard Dinner is back - but this year in our own BACKyard! Join Growing Home for our 8th Annual Backyard Dinner - transformed into a literal Backyard Barbecue at our farms! It will be an afternoon filled with local food, drinks, games, and prizes! We're teaming up with Chicago's best chefs to bring you a selection of dishes and drinks from around the city. Enjoy your fare amidst the backdrop of the gorgeous fall farm, enter into our illustrious silent auction or take a chance on our raffle featuring dozens of prizes. All event proceeds benefit Growing Home, a non-profit organization operating urban farms in the Englewood neighborhood of Chicago which are used for its unique employment training and food access programs. This is a 21+ event. _____________________________________________________________________________________________ TICKETS & PRICINGEarly bird tickets ($60) will be available until August 24th. Regular priced tickets ($75) will be available until 5pm on Wednesday, September 15. Tickets will go quickly, so be sure to purchase them ahead of time! If you wish to purchase tickets at the door and we have yet to sell out, tickets will be $95. Growing Home is a nonprofit social enterprise focused on empowering people and communities with Chicago’s first USDA-certified organic, high-production urban farms. With two farms in Englewood, Growing Home seeks to operate, promote, and demonstrate the use of organic agriculture as a vehicle for job training, employment, and community development.
