Bonita Spring's Golf Maintenance Team is hiring a seasonal Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper is a key member of the course maintenance team and is responsible for the landscaping and maintenance around the golf course. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and is able to work independently with little or no supervision. Additionally, this candidate is goal-oriented and takes pride in their work. There are multiple vacancies and there is potential for full time employment.*Groundskeeper full time positions are benefits eligible.* Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements: • High school diploma or GED (Preferred) • 1-3 months of previous work experience or training (Preferred, but not required) • Must have a valid driver’s license • Must be dependable Responsibilities: • Mows greens, tees, fairways, rough, etc. with hand units or ride on machines • Operates different kinds of implements - bunker rake, utility vehicles, tractors • Maintains clean and organized work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility • Waters tees, greens, and fairways; operates irrigation heads in dry areas needing additional water • Repairs the irrigation system, pipes and irrigation heads as needed • Grades and prepares soil base, lays sod, and seeds greens, tees and fairways • Trims and prunes hedges and shrubbery; cleans flower beds • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager Application Instructions: Please email all resumes to Richard Osgood at [email protected]
