Black Owned Business Open Air Market We are celebrating black businesses all month. Join us for a celebration of black micro business August 21st at our vendor market Side Hustle Saturday. 6700 S Dorchester Ave 2pm - 6pm LEMONADE LAND is a community organization based on Chicago's South Side. At the height of the 2020 COVID-19 virus and pandemic, a group of six neighbors (all BIPOC, five women) organized an open-air market called 🍋 SIDE HUSTLE SATURDAYS 🍋 on an abandoned field in South Shore (6700 S. Dorchester Ave.) We invited small/micro-businesses to come out and sell their products to the community. Many of our vendors had never participated in a market before. Most of our customers had never seen anything like this (especially in OUR community). We were amazed at all the love that we received!
