Job description Experienced Petitioners Needed! Job Type: Full-time Pay: $4,000 per month Car Stipend: Additional $30 per day. Health Insurance after 90 days. AMT is hiring team leaders for a petition project! We are SPECIFICALLY searching for those with experience working on ballot initiatives, nominating petitions, campaigns, etc. If you are honest, fearless, enthusiastic, and have a strong work ethic, we have a job for you. Employees who excel will have opportunities to advance into leadership roles with higher pay! About us Advanced Micro Targeting (AMT) is a direct democracy firm that sells big ideas. Big ideas like ending government corruption, giving voters the right to decide what’s best for them, and electing leaders who listen to the voters. We go where the people are. Sometimes knocking on doors, approaching people in parking lots, libraries, and other venues where people gather. Being comfortable working outdoors is a must. Key Duties: -Managing a team of up to three to achieve team goals -Driving team members between turf -Personally hitting numbers -Approaching and engaging with registered voters in public spaces. - Educating voters on the petition you are circulating. - Collecting signatures in order to qualify the issue for the ballot. Requirements: Drivers License: Team leaders must have a current drivers license. Clean Driving History: Team leaders must not have a significant history of moving violations or at fault accidents Safe Vehicle: Team leaders must own a modern vehicle that is in consistent working condition. Current Insurance: Team leaders must have active insurance on themselves and their vehicle. Outgoing: Must be able to approach the public in various locations. Articulate and Persuasive: Must be able to explain complicated political issues quickly and persuade voters to sign a petition. Team Player: Must be able to handle constructive criticism and work with a group. Detail-Oriented and Honest: Must be able to follow strict petitioning laws to collect valid, complete signatures. Open for Adventure: A willingness to travel is important! Previous canvassing, sales, or customer service experience is appreciated but not required. We will train the right candidates.
