SOS Grooming (W. Charleston Blvd) - An independently owned and operated dog grooming salon is looking for an experienced full time dog groomer to work a mix of morning and afternoons. - 4+ years continuous full time dog grooming experience preferred - Position requires availability: Mon & Sat 8:30am-3pm and three (3) afternoons during the week, days are flexible. - Reliable transportation required. (no uber or lyft please) - 7+ small breed haircuts per day, less if mixed with larger breeds. - 95% of haircuts want "short with a cute face", quick and easy We put animal comfort and safety above all else and strictly adhere to best practices to keep the dogs safe and injury free. All dogs will be washed and dried by an assistant/bather and ready for grooming. Some pre-shaving prior to the bath may be required for thick or matted dogs. We do not hold onto customer's dogs all day so the shop remains fairly quiet and distractions are at a minimum. All drop offs, pickups, and phone calls will be handled by a receptionist. In order to keep the dogs calm and safe, customers are not permitted to stay and watch. Everything we do is centered around supporting the groomer and keeping the dog and groomer safe. Compensation: - 50% commission plus tips (paid daily via Zelle or Check) - Avg. $150-$250+ a day SOS Grooming is located on the NE corner of W. Charleston Blvd and Upland Blvd, just south of 95. We have an amazingly loyal existing client base, great online reviews, and steady year round business. We have a friendly, laid back, and drama free atmosphere.
