Outdoor Gardening Project Join Chicago Cares and Austin Garden Collective as we transform public spaces into beautiful, green garden spaces across the Austin community. Volunteers will get the chance to make a difference and help spruce up areas oftentimes left neglected. By supporting this work, you’ll contribute to community plans for beautifying neighborhood green spaces. What to Expect: Garden tasks include lopping, weeding, planting, etc. Volunteers will also engage with community members to learn more about the rich history of Austin!
