Description

Run, walk, or roll a beautiful 5k or 1.2 mile course with members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Runners completing the 5k and the 1.2 mile course will both start at the SW corner of Tom Hanafan Park at 5:00 pm. Runners who wish to complete the 1.2 mile course will finish the race in front of the River's Edge Pavilion as they exit the Bob Kerrey Bridge. The 5k runners will continue down the riverfront and finish near the start line on the lower grass of Tom Hanafan Park. Route Details: Startline - The southwest corner of Tom Hanafan Park Runners head east up the tree lined walk, take the access path to the right and then turn left to cross in front of the River's Edge pavilion. Cross the bridge into Nebraska, make a small loop and cross the bridge back into Iowa. Exit the bridge (Finish Line for Fun Run Participants) Follow the path to the right and continue on Council Bluffs Levee Road (path) Take 2 rights near the golf course club house to continue on River’s Edge Service Road. Take a right back into Tom Hanafan Park and end at the finish line on the paved area at the base of the stairs in front of the main lawn. Dinner Served after race at the River's Edge Pavillion from 6-8 pm
