Santa Rita Landscaping is currently seeking a full-time experienced Waste Systems Manager/Dispatcher to add to our remarkable team of professionals! The Manager/Dispatcher position is responsible for communicating with drivers to ensure customers are provided prompt service in a safe and efficient manner. This position receives and responds to customer calls regarding new/existing service requests and/or issues. Ensures that the routes are complete and assist with resolving customer issues. Must be self-motivated with a results-driven approach. Responsibilities & Competencies: • Must be a strong personal communicator with the ability to get things done. • Effectively dispatch work orders to drivers and ensuring they provide service to customers. • Prepare, update and dispense the daily route schedule. • Monitor driver hours in accordance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. • General, broad knowledge of Waste Systems Services provided and professional interaction with internal and external customers. • New Business Development • Renew current accounts • Create proposals when needed • Ensure Customer Satisfaction •Other duties as assigned by management. Additional Duties: • Responsible for initiating and fostering a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with all employees, co-workers, and management. • Resolves problems by analyzing data; investigating issues; identifying solutions & recommending action • Focus on the customer while operating within the Santa Rita Way Experience, Knowledge & Abilities: • Three (3) years of Prior Dispatch Experience • Waste industry experience preferred • Must possess knowledge of service area, ability to read maps and give directions • Ability to accurately forecast project schedule • Ability to accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring and coaching team • Must be able to work independently, identify issues, make decisions, assist management, and resolve problems. • Knowledge of OSHA Safety laws and ability to conduct safety meetings with drivers • Be self-motivated and results-driven • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft applications and Fast Pace Software • Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
